Job summary

Waterford Place Health Campus is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. You will provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment per qualifications and ethical standards.

The role includes assisting with treatment plans, ADL training, documentation, and education for patients and families. Must hold OTA licensure and CPR certification; 0–1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists.
• Help patients with exercises and ADL training to improve independence.
• Observe and document patient responses and progress for supervisor.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
