Step into a dynamic educational environment where your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will directly impact the lives of young learners. Situated near South Holland, IL, this contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate within an integrated therapy team supporting preschool (ages 3-4 and 4-5) and elementary students (kindergarten through second grade) in a self-contained special education setting. Therapy interventionsincluding nursing, speech-language, occupational, and physical therapyare combined with social work and behavioral supports to address the holistic needs of each child.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Illinois COTA license required
• Experience working with self-contained classrooms and students with special education needs preferred
• Familiarity with a multidisciplinary, whole-child therapy approach
• Ability to adapt sessions to various developmental and behavioral needs
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Additional certifications or credentials as required by state or district
