Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide critical therapy to our patients. The position is per diem/PRN, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement.

As a COTA, you will work closely under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients recover from complex health issues. Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required, or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s response to treatment and modify treatment as needed.
• Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies.

• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).

• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in‑services.
