What You'll Do

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' ability to perform activities of daily living safely and independently
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, energy conservation, and home safety
• Communicate patient progress and changes in condition with the supervising Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
• Complete accurate and timely documentation while maintaining Medicare and agency standards

Qualifications

• Current Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Home health experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with WellSky or another home health EMR is a plus
