Job summary

Tulsa Rehabilitation Hospital in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the Occupational Therapy team in delivering patient-centered rehabilitation services.

You will assist in implementing therapy plans, document patient progress, and communicate results to the supervising OT while adhering to BLS and state licensure requirements. This role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Position Summary:

Performs component of occupational therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with practices of occupational therapy. Patient population ranges in age from 18 years to geriatric experiencing rehabilitation diagnosis/conditions and/or conditions requiring rehabilitation. Assist patients in achieving his/her maximum functional performance while learning to live within his/her capabilities. Record patient’s responses to treatment and report treatment outcomes to the Occupational Therapist.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualification:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
