Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Massachusetts. This 13-week contract (with option to extend) also offers a permanent placement path for the right candidate.

You will assist in delivering OT services under supervision, implement treatment plans, focus on ADLs and mobility, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and maintain timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
