Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a skilled nursing facility in a flexible 13-week contract or permanent placement. Days shifts with competitive hourly pay plus housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads are welcome; active COTA license and BLS/CPR are required. You will support OT-led care, focus on ADLs and mobility, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
