Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Massachusetts. The role offers days shifts, a 13-week contract with potential extension or permanent placement, and competitive pay with housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads welcome. Requires active COTA license in MA, BLS/CPR, TB test, and physical eligibility. Day-to-day duties include ADLs, mobility, and collaboration with a clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
