Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility setting in the Boston area. The role supports daily living activities and functional mobility under OT supervision, with a focus on patient independence.

We offer a 13-week contract with option to extend, or a permanent placement, plus housing and travel stipends for travelers and weekly pay for contracts. New grads welcome and on-site team collaboration is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on ADLs, functional mobility, and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
