Lovelace Health System is seeking a day shift, full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Albuquerque, NM. The role provides therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT, following policies to ensure safety and compliance. A degree and NM licensure eligibility are required, with BLS due within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
