Job summary

North Texas Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to serve pediatric clients in the Frisco, TX area. The role includes home health or daytime facility visits alongside a supportive therapist-owned environment.

Candidates must hold Texas licensure, have 6 months of full-time clinical experience, and pediatrics experience; home health is preferred. Valid auto insurance and a driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• 6 months full-time clinical experience
• Pediatrics experience
• Home Health experience preferred
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility
• Schedule supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising OT according to Texas board guidelines
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
• Plans for care to meet goals of the occupational therapy interventions
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
• Enhances occupational therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
