Job summary

Continental Care and Rehab is expanding its in-house therapy team, inviting Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants to join across full-time, part-time, or PRN roles. The facility emphasizes collaborative, interdisciplinary care and resident-focused rehabilitation.

As part of the therapy team, you will follow OT plans, document treatments, participate in care conferences, and contribute to a supportive department environment. Training and team integration are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant credential required.
• This position is open to therapists at any experience level.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines.
• Record treatments and progress notes in the medical record.
• Assist in maintaining the department and participating in conferences.
• Support training of other staff and communicate patient progress to the team.
• Help with cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area.
• Record treatment charges per facility policy and educate families or nursing staff on maintenance programs.

Responsibilities:

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines
• Record treatments given and progress notes in medical record
• Assist in maintaining department
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
• Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility
• Record treatment charges per the facility policy and procedures
• Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program
