Job summary

Evergreen Care Center in Fresno, CA is recruiting for an in-house Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a close-knit therapy team. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN positions with a focus on patient-centered rehabilitation and collaboration with the IDT.

Licensed OTAs provide treatments under an OT, document progress, and participate in care conferences. Benefits include a flexible schedule, health insurance, and paid time off to support a stable work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant with licensure in good standing.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines.
• Record treatments and progress notes in medical record.
• Assist in maintaining department.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area.
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
• Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility.
• Record treatment charges per the facility policy and procedures.
• Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program.
