Job summary

Apploi is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Kansas to support licensed therapists in delivering OT treatments and documenting progress. You will help develop treatment plans, carry out routine tasks, and guide patients in home programs while maintaining records according to state regulations.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, observe patient responses, and contribute to adaptive equipment instruction, discharge planning, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited OT program.
• Current state licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Proficiency with applicable state, federal, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Select therapy activities to fit patients’ needs and capabilities; observe and record progress.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals involved in care.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and adaptive equipment use.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans to help clients function independently.
• Assess daily living skills and assist with dressing and grooming; maintain equipment.
