Job summary

Excelsior Care Group is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time Day Shift at Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park in Winter Park, FL. The role supports residents to regain independence through personalized therapy and hands-on care.

Qualifications

• Current Florida State COTA license is required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative Evaluation & Planning: Partner with the Occupational Therapist to assess residents and create individualized treatment plans.
• Support Daily Functioning: Assist residents in performing daily tasks that promote independence and well‑being.
• Therapy Assistance: Guide and monitor residents during therapeutic activities to ensure safety and progress.
• Rehabilitation Focus: Help residents recover and regain function following illness, injury, or surgery.
• Confidentiality & Ethics: Handle all resident information with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
• Team Engagement: Work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes.
