Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Orlando, FL on a full-time basis. You will assess residents, implement therapy plans, and support their daily functional goals.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with therapists and care teams, and adherence to confidentiality and healthcare regulations. Florida license required; prior long-term care experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Florida COTA license required.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Full-time position in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Assessments & Treatment: Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and the care team to evaluate residents’ needs and implement personalized therapy plans.
• Empower Resident Independence: Guide residents in regaining essential life skills and improving functional abilities.
• Hands-On Therapeutic Support: Deliver direct therapy sessions to promote recovery from illness, injury, or surgery.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere to all healthcare regulations while maintaining the highest level of resident confidentiality.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes and quality care.
