Job summary

Vivo Healthcare Gandy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist to perform patient care using modalities and treatment procedures defined by a plan.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy, adhering to the treatment plan, and documenting patient progress in a skilled nursing facility setting. This is a FT and PRN position with a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida OTA license and credentials required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures per OT plan under supervision.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans and document patient progress accurately.

Job Description:

The COTA fuctions under the direct supervision of the Occupational Therapist responsible for patient care. The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by an OT.

Qualifications:

• Valid FL OTA License and Credentials
• At least 1 year of skilled nursing facility experience preferred
