Requirements

• State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Professional or Student Occupational Therapy Assistant experience

Responsibilities

• Screening patients
• Documenting progress toward identified objectives
• Administering occupational therapy services as directed by a registered occupational therapist
• Conducting patient and family education
• Delivering quality occupational therapy services
• Putting patient service first
• Maintaining a positive attitude and being a team player

Qualifications

• Pass the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant from an ACOTE-accredited program
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
