Job summary

Wyomissing Health & Rehabilitation Center in Reading, PA is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will provide skilled OT treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT and help residents maximize independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania COTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• SNF or Long-Term Care experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with Net Health is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Passion for resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled OT treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans for short-term and long-term residents.
• Assist residents in improving ADLs, upper extremity function, mobility, coordination, and independence.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, adaptive equipment, and compensatory techniques.
• Complete accurate documentation using Net Health.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

Wyomissing Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on the lives of residents in a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation setting.

As part of our collaborative therapy team, you'll help residents maximize independence and improve their ability to perform everyday activities while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents.

• Assist residents in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, mobility, coordination, and overall independence.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
