Job summary

Nightingale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center – Erie, PA is seeking a compassionate PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our therapy team and help residents reach their highest level of independence. The role offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute to meaningful resident recovery in a supportive environment.

You will work under licensed supervision, implement care plans, document progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote safety,

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in Pennsylvania.
• Skilled nursing/rehab experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach.
• Dependable, professional, and flexible with scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist with implementing individualized care plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Document resident progress accurately and in compliance with state and facility guidelines.
• Support residents with ADLs, strengthening, adaptive equipment, and functional tasks.
