Job summary

Nightingale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Erie, PA is seeking a compassionate PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our therapy team and help residents achieve their highest level of independence. This flexible role offers hands-on work in a supportive environment and meaningful opportunities to make an impact.

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will implement care plans, document progress, assist with ADLs and functional tasks, and

• Active COTA license in PA.
• Skilled nursing/rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist with implementing individualized care plans and interventions.
• Document resident progress accurately and in compliance with state and facility guidelines.
• Support residents with ADLs, strengthening, adaptive equipment, and functional tasks.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, ST, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Promote safety, independence, and a positive resident experience.
