Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks a pediatricCertified Occupational Therapy Assistantto work 1 day per week with school age children in the Kennett, PA area. Additional opportunities to work with preschool age students in the surrounding area to add to your caseload!

Responsibilities of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:

  • Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12.
  • Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize the student’s potential.
  • Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection, progress updates for marking periods, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals and treatment strategies.
  • Attend IEP meetings as recommended.
  • Travel may be required throughout the school day.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited OTA educational program.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Assistant License
  • Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
