Job summary

AllStar Therapies is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team. This full-time position provides therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT, helping patients regain independence and improve daily living skills.

You will document progress, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with physicians and nurses in a supportive team dedicated to high-quality care. New graduates are welcome; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, and independence.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, patient progress, and outcomes.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and home safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations.

Education

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
