Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Virginia is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home visits for clients in Fairfax, VA and surrounding areas. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team delivering rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to help clients maintain independence at home.

The ideal candidate is licensed as a VA OTA, willing to travel within assigned territory, and has relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed OTA in Virginia.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Two years OTA experience or qualification via proficiency exam prior to 1977 or equivalent.
• At least one year's experience under supervision of a qualified OTA.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health OT visits in Fairfax, VA and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary health care team to deliver rehabilitative care.

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate opening for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide visits for our office, covering Fairfax, VA and surrounding areas. As a home health care Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Each Occupational Therapist Assistant must:

• Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant by the state of VA.
• Must be willing to travel in assigned territory.
• Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma; or
• Have two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications: $47-$52 per point
