Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Fort Collins seeks a Part Time or Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to complete home health visits with our Fort Collins Visits office team. You will be part of a multidisciplinary care team delivering rehabilitative services to clients in their homes, helping maintain independence and comfort.

Applicants must hold Colorado OTA licensure, be willing to travel in the assigned territory, and meet credential requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the state of Colorado.
• Must be willing to travel in assigned territory.
• Have graduated from an OTA curriculum accredited by AMA/AOTA or have two years of OTA experience with a proficiency exam prior to 1977.
• Have at least one year’s work experience under supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.

Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a Part Time or Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to complete home health visits with our Fort Collins Visits office team.

As a home health care Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Each Occupational Therapist Assistant must:

• Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant by the state of Colorado
• Must be willing to travel in assigned territory.
• Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma; or
• Have two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
