Job summary

Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler, PA is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position within our in-house rehabilitation team.

Whether you are an experienced COTA or a new graduate, you will provide skilled treatments under supervision, help residents with daily living activities, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support residents' independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current or eligible Pennsylvania COTA license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents to improve independence in ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on each resident's goals.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPs, nursing staff and other team members.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using Net Health.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and support their progress and quality of life.
