Pro Rehab in Princeton, MN is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the team at Elim Wellspring. The role is full-time with a flexible schedule and opportunities to float to other sites.

Wage range is $28–$33 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits and growth opportunities. Qualifications include diploma from an Accredited OTA program, MN COTA license, and knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (OTA) with an Associate’s degree.
• Must hold a current MN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations related to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve ADLs.
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes as per care plans.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistance Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs).
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current MN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings
