Pro Rehab is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team at Valley Manor in Montrose, CO and Horizons Care Center in Eckert, CO. This PRN/on-call position offers flexible hours with no productivity requirements, welcoming new grads as well.

Qualified candidates will have a degree in Speech Therapy, a COSpeech Therapist License, and knowledge of home health regulations. Competitive pay and strong support for career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Speech Therapy program.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in good standing.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local home health regulations.
• Develop care plans and discharge strategies for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose communication disorders including speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech and language therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and families on strategies for daily communication.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and therapists for comprehensive care.

Position Type: PRN / On-Call

Wage Range: $75 / hour

Locations: 1401 S Cascade Ave, Montrose, CO 81401 and 11411 Highway 65, Eckert, CO 81418

Speech Therapist Responsibilities

• Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
• Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with Healthcare & Education Teams: Work with doctors, teachers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

Speech Therapist Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess a current accredited COSpeech Therapist License.
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care.
• Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care practices.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
