Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years, is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to float between Starbuck and Wheaton area. We offer mileage reimbursement ($.70 / mile) and up to a $5,000 bonus paid out over 18 months or tuition reimbursement. Position Type: Full-Time.

Wage Range: $26 - $34 / hour depending on experience. As a COTA, you will provide hands-on therapeutic support under the supervision of a licensed OT, implementing treatment plans, monitoring

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have an Associate's degree.
• Must possess a MN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License.
• Familiar with state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.
• Able to perform essential functions w/ or w/o accommodation.
• Able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and SNF settings.

As our Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will provide hands-on therapeutic support to help patients improve, regain, and maintain their daily living skills under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Your responsibilities will include implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, documenting outcomes, educating patients and families on therapeutic techniques, and collaborating with healthcare teams to support quality patient care. To be successful, you must have strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have an Associate's degree.
• Must possess a current MN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
