Pro Rehab in Starbuck, MN is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to float between Starbuck and Wheaton areas. The OT will evaluate and treat patients to improve daily living activities, developing individualized plans and guiding therapeutic activities.

Strong assessment skills and excellent communication are essential. Position offers mileage reimbursement, a $5,000 bonus paid over 18 months (or tuition reimbursement), and no productivity requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor's degree.
• Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License.
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to identify physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve independence in daily activities.
• Provide therapeutic activities and assistive device training to enhance skills.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to float between our Starbuck and Wheaton area! We offer a competitive wage, benefits, mileage reimbursement ($.70 / mile) and up to a $5,000 bonus paid out over 18 months or tuition reimbursement. No Productivity Requirements! As our Occupational Therapist (OT), you will evaluate and treat patients to improve their ability to perform daily activities and maintain independence. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, developing individualized treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic activities, recommending adaptive techniques and assistive devices, educating patients and families, monitoring progress, and collaborating with healthcare teams to support quality patient care. To be successful, you must have strong assessment and rehabilitation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to helping patients improve their independence and quality of life.

Position Type: Full-Time
Wage Range: $45 - $53 / hour depending on experience.
Bonus: $5,000

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
• Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as but not limited to: coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life and independence.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor's degree.
• Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
