Job summary

Pro Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the team at Fargo Elim Health Care Center on a temporary basis. This full-time PRN position offers 35–40 hours per week from November 2026 through January 2027, with a wage of $40 per hour and location at 3534 University Drive S, Fargo, ND 58104.

You will assist licensed Occupational Therapists by implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, and educating patients and families on

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited OTA program with an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current ND COTA license.
• Must possess strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans.

As our Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will provide hands‑on therapeutic support to help patients improve, regain, and maintain their daily living skills under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Your responsibilities will include implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, documenting outcomes, educating patients and families on therapeutic techniques, and collaborating with healthcare teams to support quality patient care. To be successful, you must have strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings
