Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This full-time role supports residents' independence and progress.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans with the OT, documenting sessions, monitoring progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a patient-centered environment. A Tennessee COTA license is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Tennessee Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents.
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely per facility standards.
• Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications:
