TheCertified Occupational Therapist Assistantassists the occupational therapy programs and provides occupational therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Shift Available

• PRN

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice, Company procedures, Therapy Department procedures and productivity standards under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
• Conduct screening of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment as allowed by state practice act, company policy, and under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist the Occupational Therapist with the development of treatment plans as directed.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Must be 18 years and older
• Current licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant in practicing state(s)
• Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
