COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Full-time position available for a COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.

All clinicians are credentialed to use this system, approved by JCAHO. Our programs include the older-adult Model of Care, Freedom Through Functionality, and the Geriatric Enhanced Modalities (GEM) program.

Responsibilities:

Performs evaluations, develops, and implements effective patient treatment plans to restore, compensate, or adapt for loss of patient function, by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with federal, state, and professional standards.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program or possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice.
  • Problem-solving skills necessary for the role.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English.
  • Ability to relate professionally and cooperatively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Compliance with health regulations, passing drug tests, and physical exams as needed.
  • Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Own transportation to travel between sites.
  • Computer skills appropriate for the job duties.
