Job summary

Regency Care of Rogue Valley in Grants Pass, OR is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will help implement plans of care and follow state guidelines for home care OT services.

You will adapt care to resident needs, collaborate with in-house rehab teams, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment with ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Adaptability, compassion, detail oriented, friendly and courteous.
• Possess, prior to onboarding and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice as a COTA in assigned state.

- This position is for our Regency Care of Rogue Valley and Laurell Hill locations -

$5,000 Welcome Bonus and Relocation Assistant (FT)

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assumes clinical responsibility in an assigned facility. This is a professional position with the primary responsibility of direct patient care under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. Additional duties of an administrative nature are to be performed as assigned.

You will:

• Under the supervision of a Occupational Therapist, is at all times responsible to follow all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care
• Follow the treatment set only as defined by the Occupational Therapist; to perform only those procedures that the COTA is qualified and trained to perform
• Make all recommendations for changes in the plan of care to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

You currently:

• Possess a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Possess, prior to, onboarding and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in assigned state.

• A moderate degree of physical strength is needed because of the exertion required to assist patients.
