Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Perform treatment sessions with patients.
  • Ensure patients and/or caregivers are educated about their condition and prognosis.
  • Explain exercises and therapies to patients clearly and thoroughly.
  • Hold patients accountable for attendance and adherence to their plan of care.
  • Complete all required visit documentation accurately and on time.
  • Update the plan of care and discharge patients as appropriate under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
  • Follow the therapist’s plan of care and maintain ongoing communication regarding patient progress.
  • Supervise therapy technicians during treatment delivery.
  • Listen to and document patient successes and outcomes.
  • Interact effectively with patients of diverse ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses.
  • Maintain accurate and current case management lists.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives as directed by the marketing team.
  • Track individual statistics and complete productivity reports.
