Job summary

Trinidad Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Trinidad, CO is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. We offer competitive pay, free housing, relocation assistance, and daily pay, with a supportive team in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Colorado COTA license (or eligibility), has OTA program training, and preferably SNF/LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado COTA license or eligibility for Colorado licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• SNF or LTC experience preferred
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Passion for providing exceptional resident-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve their highest level of independence
• Accurately document treatments and resident progress
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to maximize resident outcomes
• Follow all state and federal regulations
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
