Job summary

Chapel Hill Nursing Center in Randallstown, Maryland is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This role offers both part-time and full-time options, with priority given to full-time coverage to ensure consistent resident care and program delivery.

As a COTA, you will assist in implementing treatment plans, guide residents through daily living activities, and support cognitive and mobility training.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in occupational therapy or related field.
• Ability to work part-time and/or full-time schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans and resident care.
• Conduct activities of daily living training (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Provide cognitive training, memory exercises and problem-solving activities.
• Assist with transfer training, ambulation and mobility exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document resident progress and treatment notes in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Summary:

Requirements:
