Patapsco Healthcare, a leading provider of post-hospital, short-stay nursing and rehabilitation services, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary clinical care team in Randallstown, MD.

As an OTA, you will assist therapists, conduct sessions, monitor progress, and document outcomes while collaborating with nurses, physicians and other therapists. An Associate's degree and MD licensure are required.

Job Summary:

Patapsco Healthcare, a leading provider of post-hospital, short-stay nursing and rehabilitation services, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our interdisciplinary clinical care team. As an OTA, you will play a vital role in helping patients and residents achieve their highest level of function and independence. Located in Randallstown, MD, our facility offers a unique and supportive environment for patients and residents to receive the care they need.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients and residents
• Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and assessments, under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care and communication
• Utilize assistive technology and modalities to support patient rehabilitation and independence
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment plans
• Participate in in-service training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and industry developments
