We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at our 110 bed SNF. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $27-$28.90 per hour.
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of our licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your main responsibility will be to assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities. This may include providing therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities to improve patients' functional abilities and independence.
In addition to working with patients, you will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for our patients. You will also be responsible for documenting patient progress and communicating with the Occupational Therapist regarding any changes or updates to treatment plans.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and hold a valid state license. Previous experience in a SNF or long-term care setting is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
