Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join their team at our 252 bed skilled nursing facility in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position involves assisting Occupational Therapists in providing quality care to patients, monitoring their progress, and developing individualized treatment plans.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree, a current state license, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Flexibility for weekend rotations and a willingness to float to neighboring sites when needed is required.
Position: Occupational Therapist Assistant
Location: 252 bed SNF
Salary: $28-$29 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, any 5 days, weekend rotation, possible float to neighboring sites if needed.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at a 252 bed skilled nursing facility. As a P-Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to provide quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their needs and goals
- Monitor and document patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve daily functioning
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
- Adhere to all professional and ethical standards in accordance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and float to neighboring sites if needed
