InReach Rehab is seeking a flexible Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join Bayou Bend Hospital in Franklin, LA, in a full-time or part-time capacity. You will deliver high-quality OT services under supervision and contribute to individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence and safe daily activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of (or anticipated graduation from) an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Louisiana OTA license (or eligibility).
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to patient-centered care and functional outcomes.
• Interest in rural healthcare and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
• Lead therapeutic interventions addressing ADLs, IADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support continued progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
