InReach Rehab in Oberlin, KS is seeking a flexible Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to support Decatur Health. This full-time or part-time role helps patients regain independence, improve daily living tasks, and enhance quality of life within a collaborative rural care setting.

You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, document progress, educate patients and caregivers, and participate in a supportive team culture with mentorship and professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Kansas OTA license, or eligibility for licensure upon graduation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent documentation and time-management abilities.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and rural teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
• Improve ADLs, IADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs to support progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe therapy environment and collaborate with the rehab team.
• Communicate treatment responses to the supervising OT and participate in professional development.

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient‑centered care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
