InReach Rehab seeks a flexible and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join Bayou Bend Hospital in Franklin, LA. This full-time or part-time role supports patients in regaining independence and daily function within a collaborative rural healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program with eligibility for Louisiana OTA license.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
• Lead therapeutic interventions addressing ADLs, IADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support continued progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
