Job summary

Rancho Seco Care Center is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. This full-time role offers a collaborative, close-knit environment with opportunities to design and implement rehabilitation programs for a diverse patient population.

As part of the team, you will follow OT-directed treatment plans, document care in the medical record, participate in conferences, and support family education while maintaining a compassionate, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.
• Ability to document clearly and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and follow documentation guidelines.
• Record treatments and progress notes in the medical record.
• Assist in maintaining department.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area.
• Communicate progress, problems and plans with supervisor and health team.
• Participate in staff training programs.
• Record treatment charges per policy and procedures.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance program.

Responsibilities:

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines
• Record treatments given and progress notes in medical record
• Assist in maintaining department
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
• Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility
• Record treatment charges per the facility policy and procedures
• Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program
