Job summary

AVIR at Brownwood is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a per diem basis. The COTA will work closely with residents, families, and the therapy team to provide quality occupational therapy services that promote independence and improve functional abilities.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
  • Current Texas licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in Texas.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing, senior living, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals.

About the Position
