Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our in-home care team in Jacksonville, FL. You will assist patients with daily activities, mobility, meals, and medication reminders while providing companionship and safe support in the home.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, and mileage reimbursement. Ideal candidates hold a valid CNA license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license or state ID.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
• CPR certification is required (not online).
• Valid driver license or state ID preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support ambulation, transfers, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition according to plan.
• Provide companionship and monitor patient wellbeing.
• Perform light housekeeping and chores in the home.
• Use lifting equipment safely as needed and directed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation
