Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our Jacksonville, FL team. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and support patients at home with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. A valid CNA license and in-person CPR are required; background screening is part of the process.

Qualifications

• CNA license required.
• Valid Driver License or State ID.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, etc.).
• Auto Insurance.
• CPR certification (in-person).
• TB or Chest X-ray.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check.
• In Alzheimer's, HIV, and medications CEU.
• 1 letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care and daily living activities for patients.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, and mobility.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanies patients to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Provides companionship and monitors patient well‑being.
• Assists with exercises, incontinence care, and medication reminders.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene

• Ambulation/Transfers

• Dressing/Shaving

• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom

• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Providing hospice supportive care

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with exercises

• Incontinence care

• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift

• Personal care

• Range of Motion Exercises

• Companionship

• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license
