Award Care seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Jacksonville team. The CNA will deliver direct resident care, help with daily activities, and support overall well-being in a health and rehabilitation setting.

We welcome newly certified CNAs and emphasize a family/team environment. Competitive bi-weekly bonus program is offered, and both full-time and part-time roles are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Complete state-approved CNA certification course.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect.
• Friendly, compassionate communication with clients.
• Complete new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist with activities of daily living including wardrobe, hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid in tasks such as use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining including escorting residents and serving.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.

About this position:Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant, delivers direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and life care standards in the health and rehabilitation center (skilled nursing home). CNAs will assists our residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene and mobility, by prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.
