Job summary

Baptist Beaches is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Surgical Telemetry Unit. This full-time day position supports RNs with patient care, data entry in EMR, and maintaining a safe patient environment. Shifts are 12 hours, 7:00am–7:00pm, totaling 36 hours weekly.

The role requires an active CNA license, with BLS preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $500 is offered for eligible full-time day CNAs.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required for the role.
• High School Diploma or GED accepted as education.
• A licensed CNA and BLS certification are preferred requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care activities in the unit.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Collect lab specimens as needed.
• Monitor intake and output for patients.
• Document care in the EMR system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the team.

*Up to $500 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Days CNAs* Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant in our Surgical Telemetry Unit at Baptist Beaches. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Shifts will be 12 hours each from 7:00am to 7:00pm. The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Patient activities of daily living
• Maintaining a safe environment for patients
• Collecting lab specimens
• Intake and output monitoring
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
